Probably the biggest challenge we face as a business is to deliver our perishable packages across the UK & further, safely & effectively. As a result we have a strict set of T&C's which we need to abide by in order to make the whole process as seamless as it possibly can.
You Must Be In To Accept Your Delivery
This is probably the biggest issue we face in our customer service team. So our customers place an order, they either choose a delivery date or it is sent for next available day delivery. Our perishable juice must be kept chilled during transit, so the juice is immediately blast frozen and then placed into double walled boxes with an eco-friendly insulated layer. This packaging will keep the juice chilled for up to 48 hours. So if the order is boxed up at 10:00am the day prior to sending, it can be safely delivered the following evening.
The package MUST be delivered that day, if the parcel is not delivered then the juice will start to get warm, warm juice could be dangerous & cannot be consumed. Our deliveries are automatically destroyed once they have been in transit for longer than 24hours, to ensure that we do not deliver an unsafe product.
This all makes sense, right? So when placing an order with us, you must be in to accept the delivery or you have made arrangements to accept it. If there is no one is in, then the parcel has to be left at the property, as it cannot be returned to the depot as it will get warm.
We have no control over our customers being there to accept their delivery, we produce and send the package at significant cost so if the parcel has to be left at the property we cannot accept responsibility for it. I suppose an analogy would be to order a takeaway and not be home to accept it from the driver.
We acknowledge that sometimes mistakes can be made by our courier or by ourselves & we will always try to resolve these as best as we possibly can.
None Mainland UK Delivery
We are proud to offer none mainland UK delivery, this is everywhere from Isle of Wight to USA.
There is a difference in cost unfortunately as the majority of these orders involve actual shipping or plane transfer, so our courier charges more. Unfortunately we have to pass some of this cost on so it is imperative that the correct shipping method is selected.
Also, as flights and shipping is involved in many of these shipments our None UK orders are sent with a different courier. This courier does not offer Sunday collections for delivery on Monday, nor do they offer Saturday delivery. So None UK deliveries are only available Tuesday - Friday.
