OVER 20,000 MEALS PROVIDED TO THOSE IN NEED

2020 was an incredibly tough year for all of us, and unfortunately the coronavirus pandemic is continuing into 2021. Our lives have been put on hold, we're unable to see our family and friends, and we're limited to staying in our homes for the majority of the time.

For many though, it has been a lot worse that this. The pandemic has resulted in an economic shutdown and because of this, lots of people have found themselves unemployed, furloughed, dependent on government support, or have experienced a significant drop in income. Because of this, many families have been pushed into poverty and are not able to get enough to eat.

Over three million people in the UK are currently going hungry due to the coronavirus crisis. In a recent survey, the equivalent of three million people reported that a shortage of food had forced someone in their household to go without eating. 1.5 million people have reportedly gone a whole day without eating since the lockdown first came into effect.

Earlier in the pandemic, the team at Fuel Station made a pledge to help raise funds to feed people in need. A percentage of each sale has been going towards feeding those who have been going hungry, and we are so proud to announce that so far we have provided 20,273 meals to those in need. As the pandemic continues, we are going to keep donating with every single order made on our website.

Thank you to everyone who has made a purchase on Fuel Station, every little helps. No one should have to go hungry.
